Wow, it's been a really long time since I posted anything here.  Just thought I'd drop in to say hello.

Friday

• Esther came over and we ate dinner at In and Out.

Saturday

• After work, Esther and I met up with Jen, Wayne, Heidi, Charlie and Annie at BJ's to celebrate Jen's birthday.
• Once we finished eating, some of us went to go watch "21".

Friday-Sunday

Esther and I went to Vegas this weekend.   Here are some of the highlights.

• Stayed at the 4 Queens for only 27 dollars a night.
• Had lunch with Esther's cousin and boyfriend
• Ate at the Planet Hollywood buffet
• Got to check out the Palazzo.
• Did fairly decent gambling wise and ended up only being down a little bit.   Didn't play any hold'em like I had planned.

Thursday

• After work, I surprised Esther by stopping by her house to drop off some roses.
• As I was leaving, I had one more surprise for her...a proposal.   With that being said, we are now engaged.

Friday

• Esther stayed home today as did I since I had work the next day.

Saturday

• After work, Esther and I went to Kincaids for dinner (a belated Valentine's day dinner).
• Once we finished eating, we called it an early night.

Sunday

• Around 6, my parents, my grandmother and I met up with Esther and her family at a restaurant in Chinatown.     The whole point of this dinner was to let her side of the family know about our engagement.

Monday

• Since Esther and I were both off today, we went with my parents and my family to Dim Sum.    The point of this meal was to let my grandparents (dad's side) know that we were engaged.  My aunt and cousins already knew.

Friday

• Esther brought over mochi soup for my parents and I.
• After dinner, we just hung out and called it an early night.

Saturday

•  Around 11, Esther and I drove to Sun Valley to participate in my aunt's family's annual Mochitsuki (making mochi)
• We left around 4 and picked up dinner.
• Around 10ish, we met up with everyone at Jen's and played Monopoly

Christmas is only a few days away!

Friday

• Esther stayed home today so I met up with everyone at Wayne's and played cards.

Saturday

• Esther came over around 4.
• Around 7, we met up with Jen, Wayne and Shane at Koji's for dinner.
• After we ate, we went to Wayne's and hung out.

Sunday

•  My work had a X-mas party on the Hornblower in Newport Beach so Esther and I went.
• I think I got a little seasick because I didn't have an appetite at all.  Overall, it was a cool experience.
• In the evening,  my dad, Esther and I picked up a Christmas tree.

Friday

• stayed home because I had to get up early the next day.

Saturday-Monday

To celebrate Wayne's younger brother's birthday, a bunch of us went to Las Vegas.   We stayed in these timeshares that Wayne's mother has.    It was very nice.   In terms of gambling, Esther and I lost.  Here are a few highlights from the trip.

• staying in the timeshare.  once again, very nice.
• hanging out with everyone.   Vegas is extra fun when everyone is there.
• Pai-gow: I have officially decided to take a break from playing this game

Overall, it was a very memorable trip.

Friday

• Esther stayed home today so I had dinner by myself.
• After I ate, I met up with everyone at Jen's and we played the Wii.

Saturday

• Picked up Esther and then went to Best Buy to purchase Mario Party 8.
• Around 7, went to Jen's and met up with everyone. From there, we went to Hodori for dinner.
• After we ate, I dropped Esther off and went to Wayne's to hang out.

Sunday

• Around 4, my parents and I picked up Esther and we had an early dinner at Palms (some Thai place).
• After we ate, we went to the Pantages theater to watch Wicked.

Friday

• At the end of my work shift, my boss informed me I was being let go because "I wasn't meeting the company's expectations".
• Esther came over and we had Shabu Shabu at home with my family
• After we ate, we went to the Hermosa Beach Comedy and Magic Club with Shane, Jen and Wayne to see Joe Rogan.   When we got there, we ran into my cousin and her husband,

Saturday

• For dinner, we had the leftover food from the Shabu Shabu.
• After we ate, we went to Wayne's and hung out for a few hours.

Thursday

• Went with my family, Esther and my grandmother to Benihana's for dinner since it was my birthday.

Friday-Sunday

Esther and I went to Vegas for the weekend.  We stayed at the Plaza and got a room that overlooked Fremont Street. Here are a few of the highlights.

• Played in a NL holdem tournament and a sit-and-go.  I didn't cash in either of them but I think played okay.
• Tried out the buffet at Mandalay Bay.  It wasn't bad but it's not worth the price.
• Watched Carrot Top at the Luxor.
• Lost almost all the money I took.

Friday

• Ate dinner and went to Esther’s and hung out for a few hours.
• Went to a karaoke place in K-town and met up with Charles, Mike and Charles’ ex co-workers. Sung for about three hours and called it a night.

Saturday

• Esther came over and we went to C & O Tratorria for lunch
• Around 6:30, went to the Obon and stayed for about an hour.
• On the way home, we picked up spam musubi from L & L for dinner
• Met up with Charles at Starbucks around 10:30. Mike came by later on.

Happy Fathers Day

Friday

• Met up at Shane's and he drove Wayne, Jen, Charles and I to the Dodgers game.  Esther met up with us at Dodger's stadium.  The game was pretty short for baseball standards ( a litle over two hours).
• After the game, we dropped off Esther and then Shane and I went to the torrance house to play poker with the guys.

Saturday

• I picked up Esther and we met up with my family(parents, grandparents, aunt, and cousins) for a Father's Day dinner at Bubba gump.
• After dinner, Esther and I hung out for a bit and the went to Shane's.   He drove us plus to Jen to Esther's to drop off her off and then went to a club called Tatou and met up with Charles, Eddie and Mike.   We stayed for a couple of hours and left.

Friday

• I met up with Jen, Wayne, Shane, Heidi, Steve and Esther at Texas Loosey's for Wayne's birthday
• Afterward, we all went to Hustler casino for a few hours.  I didn't play anything but everyone else played pai-gow.

Saturday

• Picked up Esther and went to Mike V's wedding.   It was nice and quaint.  Esther and I ended up leaving around 7.
• Around 11, we went to Wayne's and hung out with everyone for a few hours.

Friday

• Esther came over and we had dinner at Pat & Oscars.
• After dinner, we went to Wayne's and hung out for a few hours.

Saturday

• In the afternoon, Esther and I went to go watch Shrek 3 and Spiderman 3.
• Afterward, we picked up dinner at Papa John's.
• Once we finished eating, we went to Jen's and played the Friends version of scene it.

Sunday

• Esther and I picked up Shane and met up with Wayne, and Heidi at CSUF for Jen's graduation.
• After that, all of us went to Koji's for lunch.
